If you have more than one CCS-eligible child aged 5 or younger, the eldest eligible child generally receives the standard rate and younger eligible children may receive a higher rate. Each child is calculated separately.

Services Australia generally withholds 5% of CCS to reduce the chance of an overpayment. It is reconciled when payments are balanced against actual family income.
