5 tips to encourage good behaviour in children

Be a wonderful role model:
Children follow what they see instead of what they have been told. Always use please or thanks to get your work done and after getting your work done. Your child will copy your behaviour. Hence Act and speak the way you want your child to act and speak.

Praise your child for the good behaviour:Praise your child when doing something right. Also give some reward for good behaviour. Appreciate him/her in presence of others for his/her good behaviour.

Be firm:
Be firm to what you say. Give a clear message the no means no. Provide consistent boundaries.

Correct misbehaviour:
Correct your child soon after the bad behaviour occurs, with soft tone. Don’t criticise your child.

Build and stick to the basic routines:
Create a simple daily routine and try to stick to it.
