Highlights of Buru Room

At Kradle 2 Krayons, we believe that at preschool age, a child’s sense of agency and resilience is developed, and we support by providing them with experiences and opportunities to be responsible for themselves, and their belongings, helping them manage considered risks and understanding their range of emotions.

Learning Through Play Curriculum:

Our preschool room follows a play-based, emergent curriculum with a flexible routine that includes progressive meals and indoor/outdoor play.

Our curriculum highly values ‘Child’s voice’ and the educators involve the children for their own learning in a variety of ways that are meaningful for them

Learning Through Environment:

Our preschool learning environment is set up with opportunities for the children to develop skills to build on their relationships and friendships and to learn how to invite themselves into play.

Our learning environment also support in developing good communication skills and building their confidence and vocabulary, so they are able to express their needs and concerns.

Caring and Professional Educators:

Our Preschool Room educators carefully provide planned and inspiring learning experiences to develop strong early learning foundations and meet the children’s’ natural curiosity in learning about numbers, letters, and sounds.

At this age, children are also provided with more opportunities to collaborate with their peers and research their own ideas.

Educators interact with children in experiences, challenging and scaffolding learning. STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) inquiry-based learning occurs naturally through these interactions.
